Haggerston Castle Holiday Park

Haggerston Castle Haven Holidays  has 7 lakes and yes there are ducks and some swans for the kids to feed this is a 5 star park with beautifully landscaped gardens and caravan pitches. As you would expect from a park of the highest standard, you will get a array of things to do from horse riding, boating in one of the lakes, treat your self to a luxury spa treatment not forgetting the Italianate gardens and all this is on the park with a sandy beach only 1 mile away. 

Each family can spend there day any way they wish but you may like to start your day with a lay in - you deserve it or maybe take the kids for a dip in the pool complex with all its features.

On the park is a great little pub where you could go for lunch or try the onsite cafe.

You may want a run out and explore the countryside, find a beach and go for a walk - game of football, go crabbing with the kids.

If you wish stop on the park and challenge yourself to the climbing wall and of course the abseiling & Power Fan.

At night you may wish to go back to that quite pub or want to be entertained with live shows, fancy dress, live bands and dancing to all hours. It is up to you.

Last summer we spent a week at Haggerston Castle Haven site with our one year old son. Very sceptical as we have always enjoyed traditional camping holidays in our tent on quiet country sites so was initially worried about such a lively venue but we all had a wonderful time. Even though he was only one our son absolutely adored everything. The staff were extremely helpful - there within 5 minutes when we rang at 5.45am on the first morning when our son had woken us up and we realised there was no gas to heat the caravan (initially 2 cold mornings due to weather) promptly changed gas bottles and showed us how to use the heating - very friendly given the ridiculous hour of the morning!
