Nature Rockz at Haggerston Castle join the park Rangers and find out about nature on this park. See what you can find on the park see how many bugs you can find?
As title says, this was our second visit. The last time we were here it was a complete washout. This time around the sun shone from start to finish. Check in was a breeze, we got there early but were offered an upgrade for a small fee, that accommodation was ready for us before noon. The caravan was pretty much next to the main lake, close to the entertainment centre.
We tried pretty much everything the park had to offer, the swimming pool was not as busy thanks to the great weather we had.
Only gripe we had was the doughnut shop next to the lake closed too early. Even if you were in the queue for over 10 minutes, they just flat-refused to serve you citing "regulations"
Give me a break eh,
We will return!
Just returned from a 4 night break to Haggerston Castle. We have visited a lot of Haven parks but this one is the very best we have been to. The caravan was quite new and absolutely spotless. The site itself had a lot to offer for families including horse riding and a birds of prey centre. Our caravan was around the main lake which had pedals on. We would highly recommend this site and we will definitely be returning next year.
Loved using this as a base for a weekend. Visited Holy island fir the day and our children enjoyed the wildlife in the park. The goose and swans. Also nice place for them to ride their bikes. Very clean and accessible park. My favourite in the North East.
Our first visit to Northumberland and it is beautiful. The Haggerston site is clean, and the accommodation was very comfortable. The facilities are good, and we were able to book some activities for our grandchildren when we arrived. I cannot review the live entertainment because we didn't use it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the one problem we had with the hot water was soon remedied.
The surrounding area, Seahouses (a pretty seaside village) and the fabulous Bamburgh Castle are worth a trip and a fish and chips lunch at Seahouses (The Neptune) went down very well.
